Our story
WHO WE ARE
The permanent SUNDAY CLUB TALAO kart track stands a few kilometres from Santa Domenica Talao (CS). It was built in 1990 from an idea and wish of FILIPPELLI Luigi.
The track, approved by the CSAI and the FIM, is an ideal meeting point for anyone who loves outdoor activities, in a green setting with panoramic views all around. It runs for about 800 metres, with the main straight 10 metres wide and the rest of the circuit 8 metres wide.
The floodlit site lets sports fans, tourists, families, schools, companies, young and not-so-young feel the thrill of driving a little racing machine, by hiring go-karts for adults and children, or by training with their own kart.
In 1991 the Associazione Karting Club Talao was founded, applied for and obtained a Karting organiser licence, and in 2009 applied for and obtained approval from the F.I.M. (Federazione Italiana Motociclismo). In 2014 A.S.D. RACEWAY KARTING RIVIERA DEI CEDRI was established, duly registered with C.O.N.I., to promote karting as a sport through teaching and instruction for beginners. The same year it obtained the CSAI licence as a Karting organiser.
To make everything even more comfortable, there is a large free car park for all visitors, including those who simply want to spend an afternoon in nature, and a shuttle service for those who want to have fun in complete comfort.

HOW TO GET HERE
The SUNDAY CLUB TALAO circuit, run by A.S.D. RACEWAY KARTING RIVIERA DEI CEDRI, is in SANTA DOMENICA TALAO (CS), about 6 km from Scalea (CS), close to the SP 3 (former SS 504), 500 m before the ERG service station.
FROM THE NORTH
Take the A3 motorway (Salerno - Reggio Calabria) and leave at the recommended exit, Lagonegro Nord (PZ). Follow the SS 585 to the junction with the SS 18, then follow signs for San Nicola Arcella - Scalea. At the San Nicola Arcella junction, leave the SS 18 and follow signs for Santa Domenica Talao. When you reach the SP 3 (former SS 504), 500 m before the ERG service station, turn right and follow the Pista Karting signs for about 200 m.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take the A3 motorway (Reggio Calabria - Salerno) and leave at the recommended exit, Falerna. Follow the SS 18 and signs for Salerno. In Scalea, just after Villaggio Forte and Hotel Felix, turn right and follow the signs for Pista Karting or Santa Domenica Talao. When you reach the SP 3 (former SS 504), 500 m before the ERG service station, turn right and follow the Pista Karting signs for about 200 m.
FROM THE NORTH-EAST
Take the SS 106 and cross the SS 653 Sinnica to reach Lauria (PZ). Follow the SP 3 until it meets the SS 585. At the junction with the SS 18, follow signs for San Nicola Arcella - Scalea, leave at San Nicola Arcella and follow signs for Santa Domenica Talao. When you reach the SP 3 (former SS 504), 500 m before the ERG service station, turn right and follow the Pista Karting signs for about 200 m.
